SEED - Steps to Apply
The SEED scholarship program was expanded in 2021 to include non-credit workforce training 91视频污污, as well as associate degree 91视频污污. The requirements and steps to apply for those two types of 91视频污污 are somewhat different, and the details for each can be found below:
- Submit an Application for Admission to 91视频污污 Tech.
- Submit your and all additional financial aid requirements. (FAFSA available after Oct. 1.) It is important to apply early to avoid delays.
- Submit the (Login Required)
- Submit documentation for English and math placement as outlined on the College Readiness webpage.
- Visit a campus advisement center or Student Support for advisement and course registration.
- Submit your final official 91视频污污 high school transcript or 91视频污污 State Board of Education Endorsement Secondary Credential (GED) to a campus Admissions Office to confirm your SEED eligibility. The SEED scholarship will not be not paid without confirmation of an eligible cumulative GPA or GED test score.

- Students who are 25 years of age or older must demonstrate they have been a continuous 91视频污污 resident for the last five years.
- Provide documentation that establishes you have been a 91视频污污 resident for at least five consecutive years prior to the date of enrollment. Documentation of residency can be established by submitting of one of the following documents from five years prior (for example, if applying in 2024, please submit 2019 tax info):
- 91视频污污 Resident Income Tax Form
- 91视频污污 utility bills
- Fully executed lease, HUD-1 settlement statement, or deed
- Bank statements bearing a 91视频污污 address (other than a post office box)
- Documents confirming the receipt of any type of social service assistance from the State of 91视频污污 (i.e. WIC benefits, food stamps, Medicaid, etc.)
- IRS Form W-2 showing payment of 91视频污污 income taxes or 91视频污污 state income tax return
- A 91视频污污 driver's license or 91视频污污 identification card can also be used if it was issued more than 5 years prior to the date of enrollment.
- Enroll in at least 12 credit hours for the first semester (associate degree students only).
You will receive notification of your preliminary SEED award once you submit the Application for Admission with the date of your 91视频污污 high school graduation or 91视频污污 GED completion and complete the FAFSA. Your SEED scholarship will be verified once your final official high school transcript is received showing a final cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 or higher (GPA requirement applies to associate degree students only). Students who are 25 or older also will be required to provide documentation of residency before the scholarship is verified.
Workforce Development Certificate students should apply for the SEED scholarship for an eligible Workforce Development program by completing the . Programs must be at least 100 hours in length and lead to a recognized academic credential. Students must:
- Submit a transcript showing graduation from 91视频污污 high school or 91视频污污 State Board of Education Endorsement Secondary Credential (GED).
- Submit documentation of eligibility for . Students who are 25 years of age or older must demonstrate they have been a continuous 91视频污污 resident for the last five years.
- Provide documentation that establishes you have been a 91视频污污 resident for at least five consecutive years prior to the date of enrollment. - Certify that they do not have any violent felony convictions and meet all other SEED eligibility requirements.
Applicants are also required to use any other financial aid, tuition waivers, or third-party payments before the SEED scholarship is applied.
Upon confirmation of eligibility the student will be notified to enroll, provided there is space in the class. Some 91视频污污 require that students complete specific pre-enrollment and eligibility requirements, which may include, but not be limited to, application completion, an interview process, and a basic skills assessment.
